We're all looking for something. We admire those who've found it - whatever it is. Try to find it in how you can look at the things around you - and how you can be within yourself.
We're all looking for something. What's it that you seek?
"The greatest revelation a seeker can have - is that he has already found, for that would rob him of his pretense of being a seeker."
"Etsivä löytää ja kolkuttajalle avataan." (Kirkon ovelle)
I don't want an eternal life. I just want to be able to enjoy this one while I have it. Can you help me with that? I'm not afraid of death. I'm afraid of the unlived life. A precious life wasted - not lived fully.
I don't mean that a life should be remarkable or exceptionally successful in the manner of how we use the word 'here in the west', but a life that is experienced and lived thoroughly with all its joys, all its pain and shame and torpor along with perhaps becoming yourself - or finding meaning in all this. Thing is, I want to be able to be present, feel and sense, be and do without all this unnecessary dissociation and detachment - this senselessness.
Can you find a silence in the midst of this noise?
What do you grow in the garden of your mind?
